Dictionary : "A-License"

The first level or Basic USPA license that signifies that a skydiver has advanced beyond the student phase. Persons holding a USPA A License are able to jumpmaster themselves, perform basic relative work jumps, water jumps and pack their own parachute.

Persons holding a USPA A license may pack their own main parachute, engage in basic group jumps, perform water jumps, should become familiar with the Skydiver's Information Manual and must have

completed 20 jumps
completed all requirements listed on the USPA A License Proficiency Card
received the signature and official stamp on the USPA A License Proficiency Card or USPA A License Progression Card (ISP)
